Climax Graphics (formerly Climax Shaders) uses the new deferred lighting system in Minecraft Bedrock. It adds depth to vanilla blocks, and makes the eyes of hostile mobs glow in the dark. More content will be added as the Deferred Technical Preview gets updated!
Lighting & Atmospherics
^ Sunrise at around 6:00 am in-game time.
^ Daytime at around 10:00 am in-game time.
^ Sunset (6:00 pm). Block surfaces facing the sun all have a golden tint to them. Light also reflects on water.
^ Nighttime.
Glowing Mobs
The goal of the pack is to add glowing eyes to all hostile mobs. However, as this pack is still a work in progress, they have been added to some mobs only.
^ Creepers & Spiders with glowing eyes. Charged Creepers also have a glowing charge effect.
^ A Skeleton, Husk, Zombie & an Angry Wolf with glowing eyes.
^ Guardians, Elder Guardians and Drowned can be seen with glowing eyes at the Ocean Monument.
^ Endermen and the Ender Dragon!
Blocks
^ All blocks now have a 3D look to them!
^ Some blocks emit colored lighting and some glow in the dark.
^ Ores now glow! These can be toggled on or off using a subpack.
Light Reflections
^ Metallic blocks reflect light.
Volumetric Fog
Volumetric Fog is a new feature added in a recent preview. Light shafts & more realistic fog are now possible!
^ A forest at noon.
^ A cave entrance during rainy weather.
Note: Volumetric fog may decrease performance on some devices. If this happens to you, turn down the Volumetric Fog Quality in video settings.
Add-on Cross-compatibility
This pack supports the Beyond The Underground add-on by adding emissive entities and armor.
^ The Luminite armor set & the Lost Explorer’s torch now glows in the dark!
Experimental Toggles
The Render Dragon Features for Creators toggle must be turned on. After activating this pack, open the settings while in-game, and go to video settings.
Here, select the Deferred Technical Preview graphics mode. Then, you are able to adjust the shader settings. Turn on Upscaling for better FPS.
Device Requirements
Mojang Studios has not yet released any device requirements for the Deferred Technical Preview. 🔗 At the moment, you can refer to @XxPoggyisLitxX’s unofficial system requirements:
You also need to be on Minecraft Preview 1.20.80.20 or above, and be playing on Android, iOS, Windows 10/11, or Xbox.
Please keep in mind that both this pack & the Deferred Technical Preview are still very early in development, and can be unstable.

Volumetric Fog:
